CHAIN WIRE SECURITY FENCING DESIGN, SUPPLY AND INSTALL

One of the many perks of chain wire fencing is that it can be upgraded depending on the desired application. To maximise security, chain wire can be fitted with barbed, razor or electrified wire. Using cranked or double-cranked extensions can extend the fencing and improve perimeter defence.

The standard wire diameters for chain wire fencing are 2.50mm and 3.15mm, the latter typically used for more heavy-duty industrial purposes. By hot dip galvanised fencing posts or PVC coating the wire, chain wire is able to withstand extreme weather and environments such as in far north Queensland. Galvanised chain wire is the more cost-effective option. PVC coated will attract a higher initial cost but will ensure your fence wire stays protected against the elements, rust and corrosion, making it ideal for marine or coastal sites.

Commonly used for a range of industrial applications, chain wire security fencing can be seen in warehouses, plants, factories and building sites throughout greater Brisbane and the entire east coast. Chain wire is effective in protecting sensitive or dangerous goods, deterring intruders from valuable items, delineating walkways for pedestrians and functioning as a versatile perimeter fence solution to secure the boundaries of your property. Councils, schools and sporting facilities will typically use chain wire fencing to protect ovals, cricket pitches, netball, basketball and tennis courts, and more.

At Karlka Fencewright, we can also share our industry expertise and provide custom chain wire fencing products when a specific unique application is required.
